14 bikes, including a visitor, Donald on his Bandit 1250, left Macca's on a threatening but mostly dry long weekend Sunday. Judy was also there only days after a major operation, but at least she was sensible enough to come as a pillion. (One very dedicated lady!) We has some light drizzle on our convoluted meander through the hills to our morning tea stop at Balhannah, but it didn't dampen enthusiasm and all bar one continued on to lunch at Strath. It was quite breezy on the second leg as we headed down through Milang, but the sun shone occasionally and it wasn't too cold. That is, unless you were John Crowe and had dressed for what he had hoped would be a fine, mild day. There were a couple of very narrow roads (one way really) and Felix was most relieved we didn't meet anyone coming the other way as it would have been a loooong reverse for him on his trike!! Overall the ride went well, with no real incidents, and everyone had a great time. Peter Wood
