Twelve hardy souls turned up to Macca's on a drizzly, damp and cool morning for our ride to Mount Compass, including Mike and Caroline who have returned from an overseas riding adventure. However, only 10 made it to morning tea at Strathalbyn with Rob having major electrical issues with his BMW. It just stopped and refused to restart. May have been the damp weather. It was dry and looking better at Strath, and as Dean pointed out, the forecast was for possible showers and we had had them, therefore the rest of the ride should be dry. WRONG. We had light to heavy drizzle pretty well all the way to Mount Compass, but those who made it didn't seem to mind too much, and a pleasant lunch at the bakery was a good end to the ride. Thanks again to Ray and Trevor for their tail end effort. Peter Wood
